Next Comms Talk is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Public Relations Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is essential to supporting client campaigns, crafting messaging strategies, managing media outreach, and assisting in the execution of PR initiatives that align with business objectives. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, a strategic thinker, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Draft and distribute press releases, media advisories, and key communication materials
Coordinate and manage media outreach and follow-ups
Support the planning and execution of public relations campaigns
Monitor media coverage and compile client reports
Maintain accurate media contact databases and press kits
Assist in the organization of press conferences, interviews, and events
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging
Track KPIs and provide insights on PR performance
Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field
2+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or related roles
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Experience in media relations and client communications
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and media monitoring tools (e.g., Meltwater, Cision)
