Nexmos Design is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Communications Associate to support internal and client-facing communication efforts. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about crafting clear, persuasive content and managing communication workflows. The ideal candidate will play a key role in upholding our messaging standards, coordinating with departments, and ensuring timely and effective information flow.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, edit, and proofread internal and external communications

  • Assist in the development of newsletters, reports, presentations, and client briefs

  • Collaborate with project managers and design teams to ensure message alignment

  • Maintain brand voice and consistency across all written content

  • Coordinate with clients to gather feedback and implement revisions as needed

  • Support communications planning and execution for special projects or campaigns

  • Track communication performance metrics and report findings to leadership

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or related field

  • 1–3 years of experience in a communications-related role

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail, grammar, and formatting

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; experience with content tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Acrobat) is a plus

  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
