We are seeking a highly motivated Events Assistant to join our team in New Orleans. The ideal candidate will support the planning, coordination, and execution of events from start to finish. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, thrives in fast-paced settings, and is passionate about delivering seamless event experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in organizing and coordinating logistics for events, meetings, and promotional activities

  • Communicate with vendors, venues, and clients to confirm details and timelines

  • Manage event setup, breakdown, and on-site support during events

  • Maintain inventory of event materials and supplies

  • Support the Events Manager with administrative and operational tasks

  • Conduct post-event evaluations and prepare reports for improvement

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field

  • 1+ year of experience in event planning or coordination

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event planning tools
