Job Title: Communications Specialist

Job Description:

The Communications Specialist will support internal and client-facing communications related to live events, promotions, and community outreach campaigns. This role is ideal for individuals with strong writing and interpersonal skills who enjoy coordinating in-person initiatives and maintaining clear, consistent messaging for clients and team members.

Salary Range: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the creation of print materials, scripts, and talking points for in-person promotions and events

  • Maintain consistent brand messaging across all offline promotional activities

  • Coordinate communication between internal teams and clients regarding campaign logistics and updates

  • Assist with the preparation of client reports summarizing campaign and event results

  • Support planning and logistics for press days, community activations, and live events

  • Attend events to ensure accurate messaging is delivered during customer interactions

  • Track customer and attendee feedback to inform communication strategies

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, in-person environment, including occasional evenings and weekends for events

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Positive, adaptable, and collaborative attitude
