Job Description

We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Communications Agent to join our team in Akron, OH. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications, ensuring that messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with company goals. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple communication channels efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between departments and external stakeholders

• Draft, edit, and proofread business correspondence, reports, and presentations

• Support internal communication initiatives, announcements, and documentation

• Coordinate meetings, calls, and follow-up communications

• Track and report on communication effectiveness

• Maintain organized records of all communications

• Ensure messaging aligns with company tone and objectives

• Assist leadership with communication strategies for campaigns and projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, English, or a related field

• 1–3 years of experience in a communications or administrative role

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
