Reboot Staff is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Events Assistant to support our event planning and execution efforts in New Orleans, LA. The ideal candidate will assist in organizing, coordinating, and ensuring the smooth operation of corporate, promotional, and internal events. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working behind the scenes to deliver seamless event experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and organizing events from start to finish

  • Coordinate with vendors, venues, and internal teams

  • Manage event setup, breakdown, and logistics

  • Prepare materials, promotional items, and supplies for events

  • Monitor event timelines and budgets

  • Support on-site execution and troubleshooting during events

  • Collect feedback and assist in post-event reporting

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, or coordination preferred

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management tools

  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree is a plus
