Nexmos Design is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Events Assistant to support the planning and execution of corporate and promotional events. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with our events team, vendors, and clients to ensure all event operations run smoothly and exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in coordinating event logistics including scheduling, venue arrangements, equipment setup, and vendor communication
Support on-site event management, including setup, registration, and breakdown
Maintain updated records of event budgets, timelines, and contracts
Communicate with clients and team members to ensure alignment with event goals and branding
Help source and manage materials, signage, and other event-related assets
Provide administrative support to the Events Manager and other departments as needed
Conduct research to identify event opportunities and evaluate results post-event
Qualifications
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred
1+ years of experience in event coordination or administrative support role
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends for events
