We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized Event Coordinator to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. This role involves planning and executing a variety of events that align with client goals and uphold the quality standards of Hype Tier. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational and communication skills to ensure each event is executed flawlessly from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute corporate and promotional events from start to finish

  • Communicate with clients to understand their objectives and event requirements

  • Coordinate with vendors, venues, staff, and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient event logistics

  • Manage budgets, timelines, and deliverables across multiple projects

  • Oversee on-site event execution and provide real-time problem-solving

  • Evaluate event performance and generate post-event reports for internal and client review

  • Maintain detailed documentation of all planning stages and outcomes

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, or related field

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in event planning or coordination

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines

  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving

  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed during events
