We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Charlotte, NC. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events from concept through completion. This position is ideal for a proactive individual who excels at multitasking and working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Plan and manage logistics for events including meetings, conferences, and special functions
Coordinate with vendors, venues, and internal teams to ensure smooth event execution
Develop detailed event timelines, floor plans, and task lists
Monitor event budgets and provide post-event reporting
Conduct site visits and coordinate on-site event setup and breakdown
Manage event registration processes and communicate with attendees
Ensure all permits, insurance, and compliance requirements are met
Respond to client needs promptly and professionally
Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or related field preferred
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in event planning or coordination
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event planning software
Flexible schedule with availability for occasional evenings or weekends during events
