We are currently seeking a dedicated Events Assistant to join our team in Detroit, MI. This role supports the Events Manager in the planning and execution of events, ensuring that every detail aligns with our standards of excellence. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination and execution of company-hosted and client events

  • Communicate with vendors, venues, and service providers to secure arrangements

  • Maintain detailed event timelines, budgets, and logistics

  • Attend events to support on-site execution and ensure everything runs smoothly

  • Prepare and organize event materials, supplies, and setup/teardown logistics

  • Track inventory of event materials and manage restocking as needed

  • Help in collecting post-event feedback and generating reports for analysis

  • Maintain up-to-date records of event documentation

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Communications, or a related field preferred

  • At least 1 year of experience in event coordination or administrative support

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow through on tasks

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when needed
