Job Description

We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling transactions, assisting customers, and ensuring that our daily operations run smoothly. This is a customer-facing role that requires a positive attitude and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner

• Process cash, card, and mobile payments accurately

• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly

• Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift

• Monitor inventory of point-of-sale supplies

• Follow company policies and safety procedures at all times

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Prior cashier or customer service experience preferred

• Basic math and computer skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light loads
