Job Description:
As an Events Assistant at SharpContra, you will play a key role in supporting the planning and execution of events. You will collaborate with the events team to ensure all logistics are in place, assisting with both the pre-event and on-site operations. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be critical in ensuring events run smoothly and exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of events.

  • Support the events team with scheduling, vendor coordination, and on-site preparations.

  • Communicate with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure event needs are met.

  • Manage event materials and supplies, ensuring all items are prepared and ready.

  • Oversee event registration and guest services to ensure smooth operations.

  • Provide administrative support before, during, and after events.

  • Assist with post-event evaluations and feedback collection.

  • Handle any logistical issues that may arise during events to ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in event planning or coordination (1-2 years preferred).

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle event-related challenges.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for events.

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Event Management or related field is a plus.
