We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Communications Coordinator to join our growing team in Wilmington, NC. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring clear and consistent internal and external communications across all departments. This position is perfect for someone who excels at creating compelling content, managing communications workflows, and working collaboratively across teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute internal and external communication strategies

  • Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, company announcements, and newsletters

  • Support the planning and execution of company events and public engagements

  • Maintain up-to-date records of communication materials and documentation

  • Work closely with leadership and departments to ensure consistent messaging

  • Assist in developing presentations, reports, and proposals

  • Monitor media mentions and prepare communication reports for management

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field

  • At least 1–2 years of experience in a communications or related role

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
