We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Events Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of various events, from conferences to client meetings. You will work closely with the events team to ensure smooth event operations and provide exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and able to handle multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of events, ensuring all logistics are in place

  • Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and clients to ensure event requirements are met

  • Prepare and manage event materials, such as agendas, presentations, and promotional items

  • Handle event registrations and maintain attendee lists

  • Assist in setting up event venues, including audio/visual equipment, seating arrangements, and decorations

  • Manage event timelines to ensure that all activities run according to schedule

  • Provide on-site support during events, ensuring everything runs smoothly

  • Perform post-event tasks, including gathering feedback, preparing reports, and handling any follow-up communications

 

Qualifications

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in event planning or coordination

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • A proactive and customer-focused attitude

  • A degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is a plus
