Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing payments, and providing exceptional service to all customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing outstanding customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale (POS) system

• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring accuracy in balancing the cash register

• Provide a friendly and welcoming experience to all customers

• Answer customer questions and assist with product inquiries

• Maintain a clean and organized cashier station

• Assist with stock replenishment and product displays when necessary

• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure smooth and efficient operations

• Assist with opening and closing procedures as required

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Basic math and cash-handling skills

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent required
