Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Communications Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing internal and external communication strategies. You will work closely with the communications team to develop content, manage press relations, and support the overall messaging strategy of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of communication strategies
- Draft, edit, and distribute internal and external communications, including press releases, newsletters, and other company documents
- Manage media relations, including coordinating interviews and maintaining relationships with journalists
- Organize and coordinate events, including press conferences and media briefings
- Monitor media coverage and compile press clippings and reports
- Work with various teams to ensure messaging consistency across all platforms
- Support the management of the company’s communications calendar and ensure deadlines are met
- Collaborate with the marketing team on content creation and campaign execution
- Assist in crisis communication planning and response as needed
Qualifications
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in communications, public relations, or a related field
- Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of media relations and press materials
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred
