Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Communications Coordinator to join our team in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and executing internal and external communication strategies to ensure clear, consistent, and effective messaging across all company channels. This position requires strong writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and edit internal and external communications, including company newsletters, press releases, and corporate announcements
• Coordinate and support public relations activities and media outreach efforts
• Assist in organizing company events, meetings, and presentations
• Ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels
• Collaborate with various departments to gather and disseminate relevant company information
• Monitor industry trends and provide recommendations for improving communication strategies
• Maintain accurate records of communication materials and reports

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in a communications or related role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and project management abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant communication tools
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
