Job Description

Sonar Spark is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Communications Coordinator to support our internal and external communication efforts. The ideal candidate will assist in developing communication strategies, writing and editing content, and ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication plans to support company objectives.
• Write, edit, and proofread internal and external communications, including press releases, newsletters, and corporate materials.
• Coordinate media relations efforts, including drafting press materials and managing media inquiries.
• Assist in organizing and executing company events, presentations, and public engagements.
• Ensure brand consistency across all communication materials.
• Support crisis communication strategies and response planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance internal communication efforts.
• Track and analyze communication effectiveness, providing recommendations for improvements.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a similar role.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with media relations and content development.
• Knowledge of communication best practices and strategic messaging.
