We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Events Assistant to join our dynamic team in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of events, ensuring smooth operations and an exceptional experience for all attendees. As an Events Assistant, you will support our event management team and contribute to the success of each event from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of corporate events, conferences, and social gatherings.
- Coordinate with vendors, venues, and clients to ensure event requirements are met.
- Help with the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring all materials and equipment are ready for use.
- Monitor event activities to ensure they run smoothly and on schedule.
- Provide on-site support during events, addressing any last-minute issues or changes.
- Maintain event budgets and assist with billing and invoicing.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure expectations are met.
Qualifications
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Previous experience in event planning or coordination is a plus, but not required.
