Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Events Assistant to support our events team in planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events. The ideal candidate will assist with logistical support, ensure smooth event operations, and contribute to the overall success of each project. This role requires excellent organizational skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the planning and coordination of events, including meetings, conferences, and special occasions.
  • Handle vendor relations, ensuring all supplies, services, and equipment are delivered on time.
  • Coordinate event logistics such as scheduling, transportation, and catering.
  • Ensure all aspects of the event are organized and executed according to the client’s specifications.
  • Assist in setting up event spaces, managing registration, and overseeing event flow.
  • Provide on-site support during events to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Prepare and maintain event documentation, including contracts, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.

Qualifications

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Previous experience in event planning or coordination is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
