As a Public Relations Assistant at Sharpcontra, you will be an essential part of our communications team. You will assist in managing our public image, developing relationships with media outlets, and supporting our PR initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about media relations, writing, and helping shape a positive brand presence for a fast-growing company.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation and distribution of press releases and media materials.
- Support the development and implementation of PR strategies and campaigns.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistency in brand messaging and communication.
- Build and maintain relationships with media contacts and other stakeholders.
- Help organize events, press conferences, and other promotional activities.
- Monitor media coverage and track PR campaign performance.
- Prepare and proofread content for press releases, newsletters, and other publications.
- Provide administrative support to the PR team as needed.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative PR strategies.
- Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading and editing skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of media relations and PR best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Previous PR or communications experience is preferred, but not required.
