Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Communications Officer to manage and enhance internal and external communication strategies. This role is vital in ensuring that our messaging aligns with our goals and values, effectively reaching our stakeholders, partners, and employees.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication strategies for internal and external audiences.
• Draft and distribute press releases, newsletters, and organizational updates.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging.
• Prepare speeches, talking points, and other materials for leadership.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies, adjusting as needed.
• Manage crisis communication plans to protect and enhance the organization’s reputation.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a communications role.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with communication tools and software is a plus.
