The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated PHP Developer to join the team in the development of our proprietary platforms that includes both web and mobile application development.

We are looking for individuals energised to see through projects from conceptualization to implementation. You are someone ready to take on new challenges and grow together in a Tech start-up. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and strive to enhance our existing products.

To succeed in this role, you are passionate in frontend development and pay great attention to user experience. You are highly adaptive and a strong believer that change is a constant. 

Key Responsibilities (to include but not limited to):

• Write REST API, back-end code and building efficient PHP module
• Develop back-end portals with an optimized database
• Troubleshoot application and code issues
• Integrate data storage solutions
• Respond to integration requests from the front-end developer
• Finalize back-end features and testing web applications
• Update and altering application features to enhance performance
• Participate in system development projects and work closely with the cross-functional teams, including business, designer, developers on the system requirements
• Ensure codes are optimized prior to deployment and in production
• Be active and engage team member - understand user stories and make constructive recommendations
• Proactively suggest the appropriate technology based on the business needs
• Actively contributing to the company with your game-changing ideas
• Creative problem-solving approach and strong tenacity to identify cause and solution

• Minimally 2 years of working experience as a PHP / Laravel developer
• In-depth knowledge on object-oriented PHP and Laravel PHP Framework
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, SOLID principles and RESTful API design
• Software testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec, Behat)
