We are looking for a hands-on Data Engineer with 2–3 years of experience who can work independently and take ownership of building and maintaining our analytics data stack. You will be responsible for ingesting data, transforming it into analytics-ready models, and supporting initial reporting and visualization needs.

This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working in a lean environment, can manage tasks end-to-end, and enjoys solving data problems without heavy supervision.

• Design, build, and maintain reliable ETL pipelines using Fivetran

• Manage and optimize datasets within Google BigQuery

• Develop, test, and maintain data models using dbt following analytics engineering best practices

• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across pipelines

• Create and support initial dashboards and reports using Looker Studio (free version)

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable solutions

• Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot data issues proactively

• Document data models, transformations, and workflows clearly

• 2–3 years of experience in a Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering role

• Strong hands-on experience with:

  • Fivetran for data ingestion

  • BigQuery as a cloud data warehouse

  • dbt for transformations and data modeling

• Solid understanding of SQL and data modeling concepts (fact tables, dimensions, star schemas)

• Experience building basic dashboards or reports using Looker Studio

• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

• Comfortable working during US East Coast hours
