Job Description
Are you an experienced engineering professional with a passion for facility management and technical operations? We are seeking a highly competent Technical Facility Coordinator to oversee the efficient operation, maintenance, and performance of our facilities in Asaba, Delta State.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise the maintenance of building systems and infrastructure.
- Ensure the optimal performance of mechanical, electrical, and civil assets within the facility.
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
- Monitor contractors and service providers to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards.
- Conduct routine facility inspections and prepare technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and statutory regulations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and asset documentation.
- Coordinate and supervise the maintenance of building infrastructure and technical systems.
- Monitor the performance of contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure all building systems operate efficiently, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and civil infrastructure.
- Conduct routine facility inspections and recommend improvement initiatives.
- Prepare maintenance reports, budgets, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and statutory regulations.
- Support the implementation of best practices in facility and asset management.
Qualifications
- First in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in technical facility management, building maintenance, or engineering operations.
- Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and facility infrastructure.
- Experience in lift/elevator management will be a distinct advantage.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility maintenance reporting tools.
Preferred Candidate
- Must currently reside in Asaba, Delta State, or its environs.
- Able to work independently while effectively coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Highly organized, proactive, and committed to operational excellence.
