Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facility Supervisor to support the effective management and maintenance of residential and corporate facilities. The ideal candidate will assist in supervising facility operations, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring that service delivery meets established standards. This role requires someone with a basic technical understanding of building systems and the ability to coordinate artisans, vendors, and service teams efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day supervision of facility operations across assigned properties.
- Monitor and coordinate routine maintenance and repair activities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
- Supervise artisans, cleaners, technicians, and other service providers to ensure quality service delivery.
- Conduct routine facility inspections to identify maintenance issues and escalate where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards within the facility.
- Track and report maintenance requests, complaints, and work orders, ensuring timely resolution.
- Support the Facility Manager in implementing preventive maintenance schedules.
- Liaise with vendors and contractors during maintenance or repair works.
- Maintain proper documentation and reports on facility activities and service performance.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues and escalate to the Facility Manager when required.
Qualifications
- First degree in Engineering, Estate Management, Building Technology, or related field.
- 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in facility management, property management, or building maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of building systems and maintenance operations.
- Ability to coordinate technical teams and service providers effectively.
- Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is an added advantage.
