Job Description

As a Property Officer, you play a vital role in our team, responsible for a range of critical tasks that ensure the smooth operation of our properties and the financial growth of our platform. Your responsibilities encompass:

  • Cash Flow Expertise: Skillfully prepare cash flow statements, providing valuable insights into our financial performance.
  • Build Tenant Relationships: Collect monthly and annual rent payments from tenants, fostering strong tenant relationships and financial stability.
  • Real Estate Brokerage: Facilitate real estate transactions with expertise and professionalism.
  • Strategic Proposals: Craft comprehensive property management and lease proposals that showcase the value we offer to potential clients.
  • Lease Management: Efficiently manage leases, agreements, and renewals to maintain occupancy and tenant satisfaction.
  • Property Acquisition: Contribute insights to property acquisition strategies for strategic growth.
  • Property Inspections: Conduct routine property inspections and provide expert advice on maintenance and management.
  • Collaborative Interfaces: Liaise with on-site facility managers, agents, and landlords to address property-related matters.
  • Market Analysis:  Survey local rental rates and meticulously calculate overhead costs, depreciation, taxes, and profit goals to establish competitive rental rates.

Qualifications

  • A University degree or equivalent in Estate Management
  • A minimum of 2 years in real estate sales agent roles.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint), adeptness in using social media for business purposes.
  • Membership in the Nigeria Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV).is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills expressed in both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of budget preparation, cost estimating, monitoring, and fiscal management principles and procedures.
