Role Profile
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the general planning, development, and implementation of effective marketing of the organization’s services using all the available marketing communications and strategies.
You will be managing existing pipelines of commercial opportunities while researching and validating new opportunities continuously. S/he will oversee the achievement of quarterly revenue goals. Additionally, S/he will develop and convert referrals from physician practices such that patient volume goals are accomplished per quarter.
S/he will drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and forging strong relationships with physicians, medical personnel, and clients.
Responsibilities
- Identify new business prospects and other medical-specific initiatives to enhance the growth of the entity
- Maintain the competitive position of the Healthcare business and strike a balance with equitable distribution of resources.
- Cultivate, nurture, and maintain relationships and referrals with physicians/consultants and Healthcare agencies to source for new or additional business, ensuring that internal and external obstacles to business growth and retention are identified and minimized.
- Manage the business for profitable growth and implement recognized business planning methodologies, annual budgets, and performance reporting based on key performance indicators to ensure a profitable ROI.
- Actively promote the Healthcare portfolio whilst generating new sales opportunities.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent post-sales service and backup
- Prepare and present activity reports to the Managing Director
- Leverage market opportunities, creative value proposition, and adapt innovative market entry
- Manage, monitor, and implement strategic marketing and communications planning for the Healthcare subsidiary.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- First degree in Public Health, Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field
- 5 - 7 years of experience with a good and balanced understanding of the Healthcare industry
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, work independently or as part of a team
- Knowledge and experience in pitching, negotiating, and closing deals in healthcare services
- Proficient in CRM software and MS Office applications.
- Sound negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Self-motivated and result-driven
