Job Description
- Identify recruitment priorities and develop a strategy to fill the openings.
- Work with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and announcements, and post advertisements in a variety of newspapers, list-serves, trade publications, networks, etc.
- Create comprehensive job adverts on job platforms and social media pages and track CV applications on the company’s ATS
- Source for suitable profiles by screening and conducting online assessments for candidates
- Coordinate interview sessions and prepare reports for approval
- Provide coaching and advice to hiring managers about people management practices within recruitment and selection
- Identify process improvement, further develop the recruitment function, and assist with the implementation of a new recruitment system
- Arrange travel (if needed) and act as a liaison between the company and the applicant.
- Provide information, guidance, and advice to both supervisors and staff on the recruitment process
- Manage candidate interview results and selection decisions with the hiring manager.
- Provide candidates feedback on interview results as appropriate.
- Complete reference and background checks on selected candidates, as requested.
- Participate in the offer process including negotiating offers with candidates.
- Prepare offer letter/employment agreement for signature.
- Manage the induction process and be actively involved in the onboarding of new hires
- Partner with external vendors in building a hiring talents funnel.
- Represent the company in job fairs, recruiting events and open houses
- Champion candidate experience of new hires
- Guide candidates through the application process and track their progress in our database
Qualifications
- First degree in social sciences or any related field
- Minimum of 2 -3 cognate years of experience as a recruiter in a structured environment
- Excellent sourcing techniques
- Ability to conduct different types of interviews (e.g. structured, competency-based, behavioral)
- Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and candidate management systems
- Ability to use psychometric tests and other assessment tools
- Experience working in a consulting space will be a plus
- Vast in conducting Executive Search.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching skills, including the ability to credibly influence people and decisions.
- A positive, proactive approach to work activities
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Application suites
