Job Description

Role Profile:

The Security Services Supervisor is expected to work with the Security Services Manager, Security service providers, customers, and staff to set objectives that will work for all the stakeholders in the business. The goal is to provide support to the Security Services Manager to effectively manage Alpha Mead Group Security.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee asset protection from the protection of staff to the prevention of theft and inventory loss
  • Develop and implement security standards and ensure that they are followed by all staff and visitors at the site.
  • Ensuring security procedures, protocols, and policies are adhered to on the sites
  • Investigate and manage infractions/incidents at the assigned project sites
  • Audit of physical and electronic security systems at the sites
  • Gathering security intelligence and implementing preventative measures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives with the aim to enhance productivity, profitability, and customer service
  • Conduct physical examinations of property to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
  •  Communicate security status, updates, and actual or potential problems, using established protocols.
  • Collect and analyze security data to determine security needs, security program goals, or program accomplishments.
  • Prepare security reports periodically and highlight trends for management information and the status of corrective actions
  • Follow up to ensure proper close-out on corrective actions in all identified gaps at the sites
  • Assist the security services manager to plan, prepare, and to execute security management strategic Initiatives.

Qualifications

  • First degree in any Criminology, Security Administration or any related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Security services role.
  • Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g. CCTV)
  • Experience in reporting and emergency response planning
  • Sound communications skills
  • Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
  • Knowledge of industrial security management (physical Security personnel services & electronic security systems mgt.) 
  • Knowledge of Corporate Security management
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Applications
