In 1959 Alpha Industries was commissioned by the Department of Defense to design and manufacture high performance outerwear for the US Military. Our Distribution center in Knoxville, Tennessee is responsible for distribution of apparel globally. You will be joining a small and passionate team that focuses on a positive experience for all our customers.

Our distribution team is the key to our success! A warehouse associate works in the company’s distribution center under direct supervision. The position is tasked with stocking, picking, and packing product. The warehouse associate is expected to follow detailed instructions concerning warehouse procedures efficiently and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction. They also must be able to work in a team setting to meet company and individual goals.

This is a temporary position starting immediately until the end of August. Potential of position being extended beyond August.

Full time 8:30AM - 5:00PM.

Hourly pay $18/hour

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete tasks utilizing hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts
• Be able to understand basic computer and scanner functions
• Load/un-load trucks
• Receive customer returns and neatly prepare for re-stock
• Stock product into correct storage locations
• Pick product accurately from storage locations
• Pack product neatly and accurately
• Maintain clean warehouse

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma is preferred, but not required
• No experience is necessary, however basic knowledge of a warehouse work environment is preferred
