Job Description

We are recruiting a Marketing Executive (German speaker) to support, sustain and grow the strong presence of the brands in the local markets. You will be part of the Regional European marketing team, reporting to the Marketing Manager Switzerland & Germany and have the opportunity to work with an international team with offices across Europe.

The post would ideally suit someone who got previous experience in marketing or similar role in-house, in their language (German) but also in English depending on what is appropriate and engaging for our target audience of students, parents and professionals. The role would provide you with an excellent exposure to international marketing using a variety of digital and traditional offline channels.

Qualifications

Your responsibilities will include:

Revenue and Lead generation

  • Creating and implementing a marketing activity calendar across the three brands to contribute to lead generation and conversion efforts both online and offline
  • Supporting the development and implementation of all planned marketing activities with focus on the ROI and high growth in leads, bookings, revenue
  • Evaluating and optimizing marketing campaigns

Brand development

  • Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including clients, suppliers and partners
  • Organizing and attending events as conferences, fairs, seminars, and exhibitions
  • Coordinating the production and effective distribution of promotional materials and merchandise
  • Sourcing and securing sponsorship/blogger partnerships /influencers
  • Social media management (Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook)

CRM

  • Building and localising engaging emails

Content and localization

  • Writing, translating and proofreading copy
  • Supporting the management of content and website
  • Creating reels, social media posts across various social media platforms
  • Monitoring performance of website using Google Analytics and other tracking software and centrally produced reports, recommending improvements        
  • Supporting the development of local SEO strategy
  • Seeding content and link building
  • Contribute to local content development and management to keep it relevant to local market

Others

  • Regularly monitoring competitor promotions and marketing initiatives
  • Support the relationship with the local sales team, gathering insights from the market
  • Evaluating and optimizing marketing campaigns
  • Assisting regional sales managers

Additional Information

About you:

To be successful in the role you’ll have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing (desirable)
  • German speaker, fluent in English and preferably knowledge of French or Italian but not mandatory
  • Relevant marketing experience dealing with local German market
  • Knowledge of Social Media scheduling platforms, website management (CMS), mass email (CRM)
  • Experience in traditional offline marketing – identifying good potential opportunities for collaboration, negotiation and maintenance of those long-term partnerships
  • Keen interest in following marketing online trends, technology, social media, blogs, travel
  • Creative thinker who can contribute new ideas, follows latest trends
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, to prioritize those tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proven success in applying strategy, managing both offline and online marketing channels
  • Experience with website analytics tools
  • Complimentary experience of offline marketing
  • Highly energetic and self-motivated, self-aware, innovative and team worker
  • Have global mindset
