Our first system, the Allye Max, is an innovative 300kWh mobile energy storage system using repurposed electric vehicle batteries. It is two-times cheaper and has 60% lower embedded CO2 than other similar systems. Our teams are developing the hardware and software solutions to transform our energy is managed at the grid-edge.

Following successful testing, pilots with major companies and further engineering development, the Max is now ready for series production. Due to our rapid growth, the team at Allye is expanding in multiple areas, increasing the depth and strength of our team of energy hustlers.

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and organised Programme Management Intern to join our team.

In this role you will be instrumental in developing and implementing our business processes, focusing on Bill of Materials (BoM) management, Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) and change management processes.

This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are keen to drive meaningful change through data-driven insights and system optimization.

You will work closely with our Chief Product Engineer, Production Director and COO to design, implement, and operate new business processes to support the rapid growth of the business.

This is an exciting role that offers the opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of business functions and be a part of a fast paced and highly driven start-up team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the design and implementation of BoM and MRP systems and processes.

• Support the material planning processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Coordinate issues management and facilitate effective engineering change management.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all aspects of each project will meet the business needs.

• Monitor and analyse project performance using data collected from the newly developed and implemented processes.

• Develop business reports to support engineering and production functions.

Qualifications

Must-haves

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering, Business, IT, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Data oriented individual with strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools such as PowerPoint.

• Must be self-motivated and an effective team player.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Eligible to work in the UK.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous internship or work experience in project management or related fields.

• Experience using Microsoft Power BI.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and project management tools.

• Familiarity with PLM systems

• Experience in a process-oriented role within a technology-driven environment.
