Job Description

As our leader of Business Development, you’ll play a crucial role in establishing our alliances and partnership program. You will be developing relationships with other widely used B2B SaaS vendors, and working directly with their sales teams, and our network of consultants to train them on how the Ally solution can accelerate their customer's growth and execution. You will be supported by marketing and engineering in your efforts to build a vibrant ecosystem that positions Ally as the business performance software of choice companies use to reach their goals.

You will bring high-energy, brainpower, and a great understanding of how software & channel partnerships equate to additional revenue streams and sales opportunities, as well as a sense of how much more our growing customer base will benefit from native integrations with the wide array of software tools they are already using.

You’re comfortable connecting with senior business leaders and C suite executives while managing a large funnel of relationships at every stage. Your experience building partnership programs and channel revenue streams will help you quickly grasp the value and opportunity Ally offers its partners as you develop alliances with progressive companies headquartered around the globe.

Successful candidates must be social, analytical, possess an aptitude for learning and using new software, and be able to communicate clearly and effectively. The ideal candidate will quickly develop relationships with popular vendors and understand partnerships from the initial research and strategic phase, right through to the G2M launch. Qualifications

Sr. Manager, Business Development - Minimum Qualifications:

  • You’re smart, engaging, quick to grasp concepts and have a great understanding of business.
  • You have a demonstrated track record of successful and strategic partnership development at a B2B software company
  • You have a strong aptitude for technology, and understanding of SaaS, and applications via web & mobile
  • You’re well organized, and you know how to qualify, prioritize and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • You have leadership qualities we can use as we keep growing

Beyond that we hope you have a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or Computer Science, and 4+ years’ experience building partnership programs and ecosystems from scratch, or have made meaningful contributions to a larger partnership team/strategy. Ideally that’s paired with 2+ years’ experience in a consulting environment, advising global customers on business performance enhancements and software solutions.
