Your role

  • Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care for dogs and cats
  • Communicate treatment plans clearly and compassionately to clients
  • Work collaboratively with veterinary technicians and support staff
  • Participate in on-call rotation as needed
  • Uphold hospital standards for patient care, follow-up, and client education

Job Description

Our Veterinarians:

  • Develop a relationship with our clients and partner with them to deliver the highest quality patient care possible. 
  • Treat each pet individually to minimize stress, anxiety or discomfort. 
  • Stay up-to-date with innovative and emerging veterinary medications, procedures, treatments, protocols and equipment. 
  • Collaborate and function as a team within the hospital.
  • Help to continue developing the support team. 
  • Treat every client like family and each patient like their own pet.

Qualifications

 

  • DVM or equivalent; licensed (or able to obtain license) to practice in Alabama
  • Strong interpersonal and clinical skills
  • New graduates encouraged to apply; experienced veterinarians welcomed
  • Commitment to client-focused care and teamwork
