    Job Description

    • Perform physical examinations, diagnostics, and treatment plans for companion animals
    • Provide preventive and wellness care, including vaccinations and client education
    • Diagnose and manage medical conditions and illnesses
    • Perform routine surgical procedures
    • Interpret laboratory and diagnostic imaging results
    • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
    • Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding treatment options and care plans
    • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver excellent patient care
    • Uphold hospital standards for patient safety, cleanliness, and professionalism

    Qualifications

    • DVM/VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school
    • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in South Carolina
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Compassionate, team-oriented mindset
    • Interest in small animal medicine and surgery
