Job Description
As our Veterinary Practice Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our veterinary clinic operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing all practice operations, including staffing, inventory control, and facility maintenance.
- Recruiting, training, and supervising office staff to ensure adherence to practice protocols and procedures.
- Overseeing financial operations, including budgeting, payroll management, and vendor relationship maintenance.
- Ensuring compliance with DEA and OSHA regulations and other relevant legal requirements.
- Developing and implementing efficient office procedures and patient record systems.
- Mediating and resolving conflicts among staff members and addressing client concerns professionally.
- Collaborating with veterinary professionals to maintain high standards of patient care and client service.
- Developing and executing marketing strategies to attract new clients and expand the practice.
- Staying current with veterinary terminology and best practices in veterinary practice management.
- Facilitating clear communication between pet owners, staff, and veterinarians to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Experienced or Certified Veterinary Practice Manager with a minimum of 1-year management experience preferred or 3+ years veterinary experience preferred
- knowledgeable in veterinary medicine terminology and how to run a veterinary hospital
- Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator
- Highly organized and possess computer skills
- Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset
- Open availability with flexibility to change hours based on hospital’s needs
Additional Information
Pay range: $80-$90k annually, depending on experience
