What does this role involve?
- Executing internal audits within Allegro Finance and Allegro Pay, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Evaluating operational processes, risk management strategies, and internal controls to identify areas for improvement
- Performing process walkthroughs, analyzing business operations, and drawing meaningful conclusions
- Clearly communicating audit findings and recommendations in a structured, professional, and constructive manner
- Collaborating with teams across Allegro subsidiaries, building strong relationships, and promoting best practices
- Keeping up with financial regulations and industry standards, ensuring that internal audit procedures align with current requirements
- Supporting continuous improvement of internal audit methodologies and best practices
We are looking for people who:
- Have 3+ years of experience in internal audit or risk assessment, preferably within the financial sector (banking, payment institutions, lending institutions).
- Hold a university degree in law, economics, or finance
- Have strong analytical skills and the ability to assess business risks and controls
- Are open-minded, adaptable, and able to quickly understand new business environments
- Can communicate audit findings and recommendations in a clear, structured, and professional way—balancing insightfulness with a constructive approach
- Are proactive, independent, and comfortable building relationships across teams
- Have strong knowledge of financial regulations, risk management, and internal audit principles
- Speak Polish (native or C2) and English (C1-C2 level)
- Are ready for occasional business trips to other Allegro locations in Poland and abroad (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary)
The following would be an advantage:
- Experience working in or with regulatory bodies (e.g., KNF, external financial authorities)
- Prior experience in financial institutions such as banks, lending institutions, or payment service providers
- CIA certification
