Introduction

In this role you will be fully accountable for managing payroll and HR administration across 6 countries in the Allegro Group (PL, CZ, SK, SL, HUN, CR) and you would be a business owner of HR Information System.

What does this role involve?

  • Leading the strategic design, implementation and management of payroll and HR operations across the group
  • Providing recommendations to the senior management based on the  local law 
  • Creating group policies in the field of payroll and HR operations
  • Managing day to day operations in the region in terms of payroll and personnel administration
  • Leading the teams of managers and specialists across a few locations in the region 
  • Supervising the required service levels to employees and business leaders
  • Providing recommendations on time & attendance models supporting business results, keeping costs under control and being compliant with local law and group policies
  • Securing high statutory compliance and strong partnership with internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing escalations and resolving issues related to payroll and responding to complex pay / tax queries
  • Recommending and delivering continuous improvement and transformation of payroll policies and procedures
  • Being a business owner of HR Information System 
  • Leading the implementation of the tool, creating the ways of working, change management with People Leaders and Employees
  • Creating the check mechanisms to ensure the data accuracy in the HRIS and payroll systems
  • Creating process behind data update 
  • Supervising the relationship with external service providers and consultants
  • Collaborating jointly in projects that are identified as being strategic to HR, Finance and Payroll

We are looking for people with:

  • +8 years of experience in payroll and personnel administration gained at international companies
  • Excellent leadership skills, +5 years in a managerial role (preferably manager of managers)
  • Excellent English communication skills, Polish or Czech would be an asset
  • Proven track record of leading complex and large scale HR transformation projects
  • Experience in presenting before C-level and preparing business cases 
  • Degree in Finance, Law or STEM would be an asset 
  • High level of mental agility and energy
