What will you do in your job

• You will be involved in building and maintaining security systems for the infrastructure and applications of Allegro - one of the largest website in Poland.
• You will be challenged to ensure rapid detection and handling of all security incidents affecting the Allegro platform and environment, which is used by several million users every day.
• You will be involved in handling situations critical to the stability of the platform.
• You will participate in the design, implementation and development of solutions to improve the security of Allegro.
• You will work with the development, infrastructure and SRE teams, among others.

We are looking for people who

• Have hands-on experience working with modern, large-scale IT infrastructure and understand the DevOps culture
• Have and develop knowledge of current offensive and defensive security threats
• Have basic programming and/or scripting skills (Python, Go, bash, PowerShell, etc.)
• Be familiar with Linux systems (mostly Ubuntu/Debian distribution)
• Have designed, implemented, developed or maintained security solutions
• Have participated in the handling of security incidents
• Have experience of working in SOC, CERT or CSIRT teams
• Have experience  in using systems such as SOAR, XDR, SIEM
• Be able to communicate effectively and work with people from different areas and levels of the organization
• Understand the importance of IT security technologies, tools and practices and their impact on the business
• Have worked in Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies
• Know English language on at least B2 level
