In Business Services & Automation we focus on the automation of processes used by Allegro staff (e.g. we develop chatbots, mailbots and robotization) and make sure they are satisfied with the IT service and tools available. We implement the latest tried and tested technologies to support back office processes (e.g. Salesforce, SAP, Genesys, Smartrecruiters, Slack, Zoom, UIPath, Asana, etc.).
Our department has more than 100 experts and engineers on its payroll across 6 teams: IT Support, Digital Workplace, CX Tech, Commerce Tech, HR Tech and Finance Tech.
As a Senior IT Service Manager you will:
Be responsible for the implementation and co-creation of the development strategy for IT solutions/services/products in the back office area - HR, Finance, Controlling, Purchasing
Execute and supervise projects and improvements of back office processes supported by technological solutions in allegro.eu group
Take care of development, maintenance, and ensuring appropriate SLA for subordinate IT services for internal customers (5 000+ users)
Manage leaders of IT services and cooperate with a team of business application specialists and administrators
Have a high level of autonomy in organizing the work of the team
Develop competencies of leaders and team members
Take full responsibility for the development of your area and products
Manage relationships with internal international stakeholders, e.g. managers of individual Process Units: HR, Finance, Controlling, Purchasing
Manage priorities in relation to strategic initiatives - ensure delivery of measurable value in subordinate services and products
Manage expenses and plan budgets
Manage IT contracts and vendor relations (in subordinate area)
Prepare reports / materials for the management board, board of directors and senior managers about results, proposed actions, solutions and their roadmaps
We are looking for managers who:
Have managed, created or implemented IT solutions in the areas of HR, Finance, Controlling or other Enterprise IT tools (e.g. SAP, Microsoft DAX, Workday, Success Factors); both cloud and on-premise
Have created and executed a vision and strategy for the development of IT products in the above-mentioned areas in an international environment
Have experience in managing a team of leaders, IT professionals and developers (25+ people) and project management
Have practice in supporting key back office processes through the use of technology solutions.
They are familiar with the Hire to Retire, Procure to Pay or Record to Report processes.
They have experience in leading teams working with agile methodologies (especially Scrum) as well as in project management. (especially Scrum) as well as waterfall methodologies
Know and understand good IT service management practices (e.g. ITIL, COBIT)
Are familiar with license management, service cost management and service contract negotiations
Have managed technical implementations, including integrations with third party systems (e.g. DAX, SAP, AD, microservices and others)
Are able to work closely with the business, reconcile technical and business issues, present technical work in the context of IT risks, propose solutions that meet business needs, ensure tangible benefits in product development
Are experienced experts in software development and system architecture. They are able to look for effective solutions to user requirements
Have highly developed strategic planning and priority management skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to develop management communication
Are goal-oriented and able to build, lead and develop a team of dedicated professionals They are able and willing to develop their team members and take on the role of mentor, sharing their knowledge and experience with others
Fluent in English at work (C1/C2).
