What will your main responsibilities include?

  • Working closely with the Allegro Executive and Management Team advising on how Allegro should operationalize its bold strategy 
  • From day one having a direct impact on what and how we do in terms of strategy execution.
  • Being responsible for building an effective, scalable, and centralized organization that will support the executive and senior management team in selecting and prioritizing the right initiatives
  • Ensuring effective execution and monitoring of key initiatives as well as operating plans across all business and process units
  • Being a part of and co-create Allegro's Transformation Office, which is an integrating unit created to drive strategy execution efficiency, challenge the status quo, and support execution of selected strategic initiatives
  • Owning comprehensive project portfolio management, enabling strategy execution, covering new business models and geographies
  • Creating vision and strategy for the Project Portfolio Management team, providing the leadership to ensure success; is part of and co-creates Allegro’s Transformation Office
  • Providing scalable, automated, and effective frameworks, processes, and tools supporting project portfolio management and implementation
  • Maximizing value of the project portfolio by classifying, selecting, and prioritizing projects based on the company strategy and available resources
  • Facilitating the decision making process for the portfolio board (Executive Team)
  • Communicating and cascading the vision and strategy of the project portfolio engagingly, translating it into actionable plans 
  • Facilitating collaboration and alignment across organizational units, taking into account Allegro’s strategic goals
  • Prioritizing the portfolio’s project requests and drive end-to-end process improvements that enable growth and increase cost efficiencies
  • Buildings relationships across Allegro; connects the dots across business areas and influences stakeholders when needed

We are looking for people who:

  • Have 3+ yrs experience in managing a portfolio of projects in matrix environments
  • Possess 5+ years of experience in program or project management
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills, ability to communicate persuasively, in both written and verbal form
  • Have exceptional problem solving and thought leadership across various types of business problems
  • Are experienced in working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Demonstrate proven ability to work with, present to, and influence senior executives
  • Have proven ability to get things done without overwhelming the organization with red tape
  • Speak English fluently
  • Have experience in e-commerce, retail business or international, high-growth tech or blue-chip companies - nice to have
  • Are experienced in Agile software development and product lifecycle management - nice to have
  • Have experience in process improvement methods e.g. Lean, Six Sigma - nice to have
  • Have project and/or portfolio management accreditation e.g. PMP/PfMP - nice to have
