Job Description
The Supply Chain Consultant II will be accountable for providing support and strategic management of our
active supply chain within a regional territory, supporting new implementations as well as a portfolio of
existing AGS MSP Programs. The Supply Chain Consultant II will serve as a subject matter expert to lead
projects/initiatives to ensure a supply chain that has high performance, activity, and strong program
compliance.
Responsibilities
• Provide consultation and lead Supply Chain Management projects/initiatives (e.g. supplier surveys,
optimizations, RFP’s, supplier sourcing, supplier forums, etc.)
• Analyze monthly/quarterly supplier data and provide a quarterly optimization summary and
recommendations to clients
• Independently, follow up on recommendations post implementation and provide an impact analysis
to the program office and client showing the outcome of the changes made. Limited guidance from a
senior team member or leader to be provided.
• Publish impact analysis results through a blog, case study and/or white paper; leaning on senior team
members if support is needed
• Create annual roadmaps for each client aligning the supply chain strategy with the goals and initiatives
of the program office and client for the year ahead including optimization, inclusion and diversity and
current market trends
• Perform and participate in quarterly supplier performance review sessions with program office
• Document and manage any supplier performance improvement plans implemented during scorecard
meetings
• Serve as the primary point of contact for mentoring/coaching the supply chain
• Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers that are interested in joining a program or working
with AGS in general
• Source new suppliers to support program gaps
• Create and distribute critical communications to the supply chain
• Support the program office operations team with supplier escalation issues/concerns
• Provide new members of the Program Office with supply chain training (e.g. scorecards, SCM
overview, etc.)
• Manage and document disciplinary actions with suppliers, through corrective action plans including
suspensions and terminations
• Create and manage supplier RFI/RFP projects
• Organize and host supplier forum and focus groups
• Establish trust and partnership among the supplier community
• Maintain supplier and customer relationships
Participate in the client kick-off meeting during implementation and lead the SCM work stream
discussion; explaining our supplier management methodology and vetting timelines and deliverables
• Conduct Supply Chain Discovery Meeting with client to understand current state and landscape of the
supply chains
• Summarize the findings in the SCM discovery meeting and share with team
Qualifications
• University degree/ Post-secondary Education required
• Previous staffing experience or MSP experience required
• 3+ years business experience
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, conditional formatting)
• Experience with and strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe PDF
• Experience with Outlook
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellence presentation skills and strong comfort level with key audiences that include client
stakeholders, suppliers, internal leadership, etc.
• Organizational agility: collaborates with various GBS teams and PMO internally at AGS with some
guidance from senior members of the team (ability to navigate the company to achieve goals)
• Detail oriented
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to successfully handle multiple concurrent tasks
• Ability to successfully interact with Customer and supplier representatives
• Ability to travel, as needed, to support new program implementations/program initiatives
