Job Description

The Senior Executive, Business Architecture is responsible for technology solutions,  analytics solutions, innovation, partnership and operational excellence for internal and external stakeholders, including technology partners and vendors, internal tools and platforms, development and solutions architecture and the technology requirements needed when evaluating, implementing and operating with technology for our Procurement offerings.

The role will be focused on aligning and driving the data and technology strategy to meet organizational and service line goals.  Partnering closely with business leaders, IT peers, opco partners, vendor partners and internal stakeholders, the role will drive strategic data and technology related decisions.  The leader will develop a strong understanding of the company’s underlying business and technical challenges, translating them into long-term, sustainable technology and analytics solutions that are applicable across the service line.  They will also partner with the architecture community to ensure alignment with existing roadmaps and technology standards.  The leader will drive the technicial and analytical components of the service line, while also exhibiting the strategic vision necessary to lead this high growth service line for the company. 

Responsibilities (included, but not limited to)

  • Oversee the internal and external technology and analytics functions for the Procurement Solutions service line
  • Partner with Client Delivery, Business Development, Service Excellence, FBS and GBS to ensure strategy and vision alignment
  • Maintain strong relationships at multiple levels of the organization
  • Continuously drive innovation and exploration into best practices and new technologies
  • Partner with Service Excellence peers to understand customer needs and service line evolution requirements
  • Collaborate with Business Development to ensure the service line has a compelling value proposition for customers
  • Effectively manage the function’s projects, strategic deliverables and expected positive outcomes
  • Build strong, proactive collaborative stakeholder and team relationships to drive trust, accountability and partnership
  • Inspire trust across partners, analytics and technology peers and team members, executive leadership in order to drive understanding, support and expected positive impacts.

Qualifications

  • Experience analyzing complex problems and breaking down components into actionable solutions
  • Proven and successful experience in the execution of technology and data strategy
  • Ability to present conceptual information to all levels of internal and external management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills partnered with extensive technology and analytics knowledge
  • Deep sense of innovation, intellectual curiosity, best practice enhancement and development/design expertise and solutioning across the team and organization
  • Passion around providing development, inspirastion and guidance to partners, peers and team members
  • Demonstrated experience of enterprise architecture lifecycle methodologies
  • Ability to evaluate external technology for efficacy, security, economic value and applicability to service line goals.
  • Strong foundational technical skill sets and architecture experience which can be leveraged as use of current and newer technologies is expanded in applications
  • University or graduate degree in: Data and/or Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Information Systems, Applied Mathematics, Business Administration or any other related field is preferred.
  • 10+ years leading technical teams in complex, evolving marketplaces
  • 15+ years experience in operations, technology or consulting experience
