Alkaia has a fantastic opportunity for Self-employed drivers to join our friendly team of self-employed delivery associates working in partnership with Amazon and delivering smiles to the local community!

We’re seeking reliable, hard-working, and motivated Delivery Associates to join one of our logistics service providers. This is a Delivery associate role where you’ll spend the majority of your day out on the road - so a passion for driving is a plus! Pre-defined routes and pre-sorted packages are provided. So, once you've conducted your safety checks and loaded up, you can simply head off and drive.

• The Ideal candidate will be responsible for a safe driver and responsible for carrying out their own daily van checks before going out on road. Safety is important after all.

• You will be responsible for Loading the van with pre-staged packages 

• Adhere to all safety regulations on the road e.g. speed limits, practice safe driving

• Operate an electronic device for GPS route guidance 

• Greet and interact with customers with a professional and positive attitude 

• Debrief at the end of the route and drop vans and keys back to depot

• Earn potential between £740 - £888 per week working 5-6 days a week

• Weekly Rota schedule. Give us your days a week in advance and turn up for work on those day. Reliability is key and cancellations are unacceptable. 

• Weekly pay every Monday

• Weekly performance bonus for performing delivery associates

• Must be aware the role is self-employed 

• Independent problem solver with good communication skills in English 

• The ability and willingness to be able to use stairs to deliver packages 

• Able to lift and deliver packages

• Full UK or EU Driving Licence (max 6 points, NO active IN, DR or TT codes)- Manual or Automatics accepted

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check 

• Must be able to commute to and from the depot as that's where the vehicles are parked and load out takes place

• Provide and wear own safety shoes at all times while in the depot due to safety

• Must be at least 18 years old
