Telesales Team Leader
Job Description
One of the UK’s leading independent providers of business voice, data, IT, cloud & technology services based in Hertfordshire is actively seeking a Telesales Team Leader to join their organisation.
As a Telesales Team Leader, you will grow a department that is at the forefront of developing new business leads for the company. You will be responsible for recruiting and running a new telesales team, carrying out on going sales training and generating a high volume of outbound phone calls, creating face to face appointments for our field sales team to attend.
Duties & Responsibilities of Telesales Team Leader
- Recruitment and Selection of a new telesales team
- Managing day to day operations of the team
- Meeting and exceeding given sales targets by managing the team and maximising the sales potential of every call
- Responsible for training, coaching and mentoring the team to achieve the targets.
- Responsible for initiating and implementing ongoing training on products and selling techniques where needed
- Disciplined use of the company’s CRM system
- Forecasting and reporting to the Sales Director
- Generate meetings for prospective clients in line with the targets agreed
- Identifying opportunities to up/cross sell
- Delegation and diary management for all sales appointments
- Managing leads that come from the company website and marketing campaigns.
- Objective setting/KPI management
Skills and Experience required For Telesales Team Leader
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in telesales management
- Industry experience preferred but not essential
- Proven track record in sales
- Ability to meet targets
- Experience in hiring, training and developing staff
- Highly motivated to deliver sales results
- Team focused
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
