Alegis Revenue Group currently has an opening for a Third Party Eligibility Account Representative in Woodlands, Texas. Employees in this position are responsible for assisting patients through the eligibility process for Social Security Disability. The hourly rate range for this position is $12-$15 per hour, depending on experience.  

Job Responsibilities include:

* Assist patients with the completion of application for all qualified patients.

* Schedule appointments on the patient's behalf with the appropriate agency.

* Follow up with agencies to ensure submitted applications are processed in a timely manner.

* Assist in appealing denied applications.

* Act as a liaison between the patient and the agency during the application process.

* Continue to follow up with all accounts in your inventory.  

* Update the hospital and company systems with current activity. 

* Submit verified billing numbers to the hospitals.

 * Prior Medicaid experience.

* Bilingual preferred (Spanish).

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)

* Must be able to multi-task

* Excellent communication skills and customer service
