Job Description

We have a number of positions for experienced Senior Reliability Engineers to join the maintenance group at one of our Refineries in Western Australia.  

The Senior Reliability Engineer plays an integral role in leading a team of Engineers to support the Refinery’s operations and maintenance. In this role you provide single point accountability for all engineering support in the day to day operations.  You will identify long term opportunities for improvement through a focus on equipment reliability, application of capital and expert advice.

You and your team will play a key part in production optimisation, by applying reliability engineering principles to equipment performance and solutions to equipment based problems through failure and root cause analysis techniques.  You will also be analysing and providing data to the operations to ensure that life cycle costs and performance are optimised.

Qualifications

To ensure your success in this role, you must possess a tertiary qualification in Engineering and have the ability to communicate at all levels.  A demonstrated commitment to Environment, Health and Safety is essential as is previous experience in a plant engineering environment. Previous experience in maintenance, reliability or plant engineering will be highly regarded, as will be experience in heavy process industries. 

You will be self motivated with a desire to learn new skills, and have a sound track record in pro-active problem solving.  Your use of initiative and a desire to continuously improve business performance will be utilised in this dynamic team environment.
