Job Description
Production positions are available at our Warrick Operations Plant. While most of our new production operators begin their employment in the Smelter "Potroom", we may have other production positions available. All of our production positions require the use of equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and shipping our products. While the exact duties may vary based on the area hired into, a production operator may be expected to handle heavy machinery such as forklifts, cranes, etc., as well as working along an assembly path performing specialized tasks. Most importantly, a production operator must adhere to safety guidelines.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED, must be willing and able to work rotating shifts and continuous schedules as required. Applicants must have at least 1 year of full time work experience with one previous employer. Must be able to perform physically demanding work activities under high temperature conditions. Candidates must successfully pass a skills aptitude and job fit evaluation test.
Preferred: Previous work experience in Industrial/Manufacturing/Construction/Agriculture environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Typical work environment involves primarily indoor work with exposure to hot and cold weather and extreme non-weather related heat is frequent.
