Alcoa Bauxite is looking for a suitably qualified and experience Senior Project Manager to delivery project outcomes for Mining Business Unit.  Reporting to the Director Engineering & Infrastructure, the Senior Project Manager is accountable for the implementation of major project between $50M and $200M

You will be accountable for: -

• Delivering projects from study phase through to execution phase and handover to operations.
• Ensuring Alcoa’s EHS objectives are incorporated into the project design
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely and according to the agreed technical specifications, on time and within budget.
• Ensuring all project outcomes adhere to Alcoa’s policy, standards, procedures and guidelines
• Ensuring that all stakeholders are being engaged to provide their input into the project.

• Motivating personnel to meet project requirements and customer satisfaction.

To be successful in this role you will need to have solid experience in a project management field within mining or heavy industry. Highly developed communication and leadership skills along with engineering supervisory experience is a requirement. An Engineering degree is essential, qualification in commerce, business or project management would be viewed favourably.
